Insights from Business and Beyond
Headlined by respected business mentor, Mark Bouris, and joined by one of the world’s most sought-after performance specialists, Joseph McClendon III (JM3), plus more inspiring speakers, this multi-city seminar defined today’s most effective strategies for achieving greater growth in all aspects.
They addressed the collective sentiments of those who want to go further, faster in both business and life, topics ranged from automating your business in the new age of AI, to leveraging the power of personal branding, and how both innovation and resilience are key to ongoing success.
If you couldn’t be there for this one, below are some of our favourite takeaways.
Mark Bouris
Australia's 'Mentor' Mark Bouris took us through the 10 Chapters that make up his 'Business Playbook', developed over his decades of experience in the finance industry.
Chapter 1 begins with Purpose - something that is discussed a lot these days, but he emphasised the importance of continuously revisiting your purpose and making sure everyone in the organisation understands it. Because, just like business conditions and markets, your purpose can evolve and change. It's never about your product, but rather what your product can give your customer - e.g. He wasn't in the business of home loans - but rather, the business of hopes and dreams.
While Mark spoke about many things he learned from his own former mentor, Kerry Packer, this was a poignant one:
"Build your business so that it is always ready for sale". He explained that you should treat it like your car, or house; have the mindset that it is an asset and set the value you want to sell it for in 5, 10 years' time. In that way you're setting goals for growth, even if you don't actually intend to exit at that point.
Joseph McClendon III
Joseph shared that life is much simpler than we have been led to believe, and it's possible to have control over our life's outcomes by following the 60/20/20 Rule.
That is, being conscious that "60% of how we operate is driven by our psychology, 20% by our energy, and 20% by our magnetism".

He also spoke about how we S.E.E the world is linked to our Significant Emotional Events. When these events are negative, being able to control our lives to shape positive outcomes depends on being able to reprogram our nervous systems. This power is also connected to the laws of attraction, which is only one of the 21 Laws of Magnetism that can be leveraged for your benefit.
Joseph gave a glimpse into his neuropsychology based 3-day training that delves even deeper to TRANSFORM your life:
'The A-Factor'.
DAY 1: Mastering Magnetism
DAY 2: Mastering Emotional Mechanics
DAY 3: Embedding an Unstoppable Identity

John Lee
From John, we learned so much about the power of automating business through the power of AI and social media.
He mentioned using new tools like the DGI Pocket to document your daily business activities for easy content (simpler than creating!). Which is crucial, because "the best known beats the best". Remember, Awareness x Attention = INCOME.

With the latest AI tools, you can do mind-blowing things like create an AI generated video of yourself presenting, and have it automatically translated into countless languages for global reach.
The aim for everyone should be to find a way to stop trading time for money, and create Annual Recurring Review. To this end, one of his number one strategies is video monetisation through YouTube, and funnelling through video ads on social media.
He made it clear that one of the most powerful social media tactics doesn't require huge amounts of followers to get views. The focus should always be on publishing videos that stop the scroll (use attention-grabbing text on your videos) and create awareness.
If you are a product based business, keep in mind that all unicorn businesses got their distribution right. They put themselves where they could be found... this extends to placing your products where your competitors are, but doing a better job of advertising.
An overriding lesson from John is that ALL businesses today needs a social presence and a digital footprint, and brands with social proof will be the strongest players.
John currently has an upcoming webinar where you can learn even more about using AI to supercharge your social strategy.
